Unconventional Optics on the Fujifilm GFX 50S

Through the years I have tried many different lenses, some more gimmicky than others, since it is always good to find lenses with a different look to all the millions of other images out there on the internet. I have quite a collection of special-effect lenses as well as old-school lenses from the film era which these days people tend to call “lomo”. As far as possible I have adapted all these lenses to the Nikon F mount, since I find that this mount can universally fit most full-frame or smaller sensor cameras, including mirrorless. It was really a big surprise for me to find that so many lenses originally designed for full-frame work really well when adapted to fit the Fujifilm GFX 50s. This group of five example images were shot with various Russian lenses dating back to the 1950’s as well as a special-effect lens from LensBaby.
