Images of Tuscany 2018 – Post #2

This is a view of Castelmuzio from across the valley, shot from a convenient pull-over area at the side of the Strada Provinciale (SP) 71. You can find the spot on google maps here.

This image was shot with the Fujifilm X-H1, a camera I have grown to really love. The lens I used for this shot was the Zhongyi Mitakon 35mm f/0.95. It’s a fantastic lens, useful for so many situations and is incredibly sharp edge to edge when stopped down to f/5.6 as it was for this shot.

Incidentally at the point by the roadside where I took the shot, there is a work of art placed between the olive trees. It’s entitled “Dream | Soultura” by Anna Izzo. I googled for information on it but there is none I could find. I would have missed it altogether had I not stopped at that point on the road.
