Slow Motion with the Panasonic GH5

This is a short video I shot to showcase the slow motion and low light capabilities of the Panasonic GH5. All footage was shot hand-held in full HD at a frame rate 180 fps, ISO was set to 400 and I used the Cinelike D profile.

The lens I used throughout was the Lumix G X Vario 14-140mm, this is a “Dual IS” compatible lens allowing a combination of in-body and optical stabilsation. Electronic stabilisation and autofocus were disabled while shooting in this high frame rate.

The soundtrack is part of an experimental composition which I recorded using sample-based software synthesis engines and sequenced in Steinberg Cubase.
