Images of Tuscany 2018 – Post #13

Montepulciano is definitely my favourite Tuscan town for its beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There is so much to see and so many different camera angles to try out.

Like all landscapes, the magic really happens when the sun is low and this shot was taken early evening just as the sun was starting to set.

I shot this image with the only native Fujifilm lens that I carried with me, the Fujifilm XF 18mm f/2. It has a field of view equivalent to a 28mm wide angle lens on full frame 35mm. It’s really compact and great to carry with you as a walk-about prime when you want the luxury of autofocus (which to be honest I rarely do!)

You can find Montepulciano here. I strongly recommend a visit if you find yourself in Tuscany!
